Based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Solaire draws inspiration from a blend of Japanese rock, indie, and punk influences, paired with emotional vocals. The result is a unique sound that feels like the soundtrack to an action-packed coming-of-age film you can dance to.

After a long and complicated origin story, Solaire found its footing by releasing multiple singles, building a social media following, and playing countless shows, including too many Paramore cover sets. Despite all that, Solaire is just getting started.

In 2026, Solaire released its debut EP, Out of Love, available on all streaming platforms. The band celebrated the release with features on local radio stations such as UMFM, Power 97, and ALT 94.3; performances at local festivals including the Winnipeg Fringe Festival, Salamander Fest, Maryland Music Festival, and Nuit Blanche; and opening slots for touring acts such as Quit It!, Danger Box, and The Shindigs.
